New listings this week were down. 44 this week compared to 45 the previous week. Consistent, but way down.
Closed listings this week were also down. 128 this week compared to 135 the previous week.

Conventional financing was used to close on 85 homes this week at median price $379,990 with 58 days average market time, last week 90 homes at median price $365,000 with 45 days average market time.
Cash was used to close on 21 homes this week at median price $467,500 with 65 days average market time, last week 22 homes at median price $265,000 with 63 days average market time.

Contracts accepted by seller’s this week are down. 51 this week compared to 88 the previous week.
Plainfield had 7 and Aurora, Batavia, and Bolingbrook had 6.
No short sales were accepted this week.
No contracts were accepted with contingencies on a home close or a home sale and closing this week.

If you are thinking about buying a home this year you will want to get the process started to get your loan approved so you know that no issues will come up at the last minute. You will be in a better position to get your offer excepted. This is not just talking to a loan officer over the phone. This is getting all your information to them.
