Fox Valley home prices August 17th. It looks like a couple of days of possible rain with temperatures in the 70’s and lower 80’s.
Today starts the new rules. We can no longer offer cooperating commission on the MLS. This will need to be determined off of the MLS and buyers need to sign buyer agreements before touring a home.
New listings are down. 199 new listings this week compared to 260 the previous week.
Closed listings are up. 220 closed listings this week compared to 197 the previous week.

Conventional financing was used to close on 176 homes this week at median price $455,000 with 22 days average market time, last week 140 homes at median price $487,950 with 23 days average market time.
Cash was used to close on 31 homes this week at median price $534,000 with 26 days average market time, last week 32 homes at median price $439,750 with 17 days average market time.
FHA financing was used to close on 12 homes this week at median price $323,000 with 19 days average market time, last week 15 homes at median price $425,000 with 40 days average market time.
VA financing was used to close on 10 homes at median price 537,500 with 113 days average market time, last week 10 homes at median price $387,500 with 19 days average market time.
2,000 SF or more closed on 147 homes at median price $545,000 with 30 days average market time, last week 122 homes at median price $522,500 with 28 days average market time. Minimum price this week $314,000, last week $251,000.
Conventional financing plus cash make up most of the homes closed this week. Only 12 used FHA and 10 VA.
Under contract this week
Homes that went under contract this week are down slightly. 183 this week compared to 200 the previous week.
